Hi I am Olwen from accounts! My role here at Bureau is to keep the back office running smoothly. I manage the accounts, the plants and the cakes most of the time.
How did I get here is a good question to ask?
It’s been a long journey. Through working in the travel industry, to being a Publican in Wales and setting up a yacht charter business here in Auckland, to renovating and managing residential properties.
Along the way I was privileged to work with Refugee Services meeting some great people and resettling a refugee family from Myanmar.
Some of the community fund raising events I worked on in Devonport remain legendary!
All the while observing the recruitment industry from the outside over the last few years. Now on the inside I really enjoy the team here at Bureau and being part of its growth is a fantastic experience.
Outside of work seeing the world and our own back yard as much as possible and getting into the outdoors is a bit of a passion.
