Full disclosure – I don’t know how I ended up in recruitment, now writing an ‘about me’ section for our website. But I am happy to say I enjoy what I do!
I’m a small town farm kid from Matamata, and I moved to Auckland to do my studies in psychology & criminology.
After graduating, I was recruited by an international agency who I spent a few years with before joining Bureau as a partner in 2019.
Recruitment in professional services has been a great place to specialise, I get to work with intermediate to partner level professionals who are looking for something different.
I have developed a particular interest in the tax and consulting market and have recruited roles at various levels in this space, and also within general BAS accounting.
People always move for different reasons and I enjoy unpacking motivations and tailoring the recruitment process to fit each candidate’s needs.
On the other side, I get to meet with businesses across the country and listen to their story, hear about what they do and then assist them in finding people that are right for their business.
I work in partnership with Luke, and together we work with the large and local boutique firms alike, across the North Island.
Outside of work, I chase any sort of adventure that gets me out of Auckland – fishing, a cheeky hike, any whisper of a good gig and I’m there!
