We provide a wide range of HR Consulting services which add either expertise and capacity to your current HR function or as a standalone HR resource to cover your day to day requirements.

We are frequently engaged to lead or support a specific HR project or piece of work which requires a level of confidentiality, discretion or independence, particularly where this relates to leadership development, organisational change or restructuring.

Case Studies

Interview Coaching – Health Insurance

 

For this client, we designed and delivered one on one Interview Coaching for Line Managers, which was structured around the specific role they are recruiting.  This programme included a full needs analysis, delivery of a tailored coaching programme, preparation of interview question guides, sitting in on Panel Interviews as their HR representative and generally coaching line managers to make good hiring decisions. This is delivered just in time, so that skills are implemented immediately.

 

This is an ongoing programme which has had a remarkable impact on the skill level of hiring managers to recruit and select the best possible talent for their organisation.

Ad hoc Support – Machinery

 

A small organisation who has no requirement for full time HR support. Our HR Specialist provided adhoc help desk support, generally in relation to restructuring advice. They acted as the HR representative in restructure meetings, taking the role of advocate and facilitator of a best practice restructure process.

HR Project – Funds Management

 

In the early stages of their growth, this organisation had no HR resource, so we worked on a project by project basis for them. The projects included writing their induction and onboarding programme, reviewing remuneration for specialist roles (reported to Board), tidying up employment agreements, and general HR advice.

This was adhoc, but where possible we spent half a day per week in their offices, meeting with the various heads of departments to draw out their needs and to coach them on better people practices.

HR Specialist – FMCG/Retail

 

This is a small organisation that has no requirement for full time HR support.  We provides adhoc HR advice and support which has ranged from some complex ER issues and restructures, through to general advice on things like Parental Leave, union submissions on proposed changes and preparation for mediation.  This is all remote, although they do meet face to face as and when required.
